The Guy Harvey Foundation is committed to preparing educators around the world to teach students about marine science, highlight maritime career opportunities with a focus on females and minorities and to inspire future generations to conserve our oceans.
GHF Teacher Training Workshops will ensure:
- A scalable Teacher Workshop Program across the state, country & internationally.
- Standardized teacher training workshops.
- Increase in teacher efficacy.
GHF Teacher Training will consist of:
- Educational content introduction and implementation.
- Engaging hands-on teacher experiences.
In Person Workshop
In Person Workshop Teachers will dive in deep with our 1 or 3 day teacher professional learning experiences which combine in classroom training using hands-on activities and immersive experiences out on the ocean, in the bay and even in the Everglades.
Virtual Live Training
Virtual Live Training Guy Harvey Foundation offers live virtual trainings for those teachers who would love to use the curriculum but who are unable to join us in person. We offer multiple trainings per month.

FLVS Virtual Workshop
FLVS Virtual Workshop This professional development workshop developed in partnership with Florida Virtual School takes educators through various environmental and marine science concepts and can be completed at any time.
