EDUCATION
Educational outreach and community engagement are essential components of the Guy Harvey Foundation’s mission. We offer professional development through teacher training workshops and publish a comprehensive catalog of standards-based educational materials for teachers as well as a large offering of programs developed for homeschooling families and a wide range of community groups. Our aim is to inspire ocean conservation through education.
Exploration and research inspired the creation of GHF’s best in class marine science and conservation education offering.
We have partnered with like-minded organizations to develop and enhance our efforts in conservation like Brightmark Plastics, who funded The Plastic Pollution, Plastic Solution marine sciences curriculum and Florida Power and Light who funded the creation of specific Guy Harvey lessons which includes both middle school lessons and high school lessons.
