Deerfield Island Park
The partnership between Guy Harvey Foundation and Broward County Parks and Recreation at Deerfield Island Park brings together science, art and conservation in an outdoor learning environment. Deerfield Island Park is a living classroom where students, families and community members engage in hands-on marine and environmental education rooted in real research and local ecosystems. Through immersive field experiences, interpretive signage and storytelling, the project inspires curiosity, environmental stewardship, and a deeper understanding of South Florida’s coastal and estuarine habitats—empowering the next generation to protect our oceans and natural resources.
